Physical Description: At 5'9", Uriel isn't much on size. However, his intimidating looks come from his tattered clothes, ratty, clumpy black hair, and the scar running under his left eye. He tends towards dark (eg black) clothing, and attempts to keep his weapons as concealed as possible. His dark eyes have an uncanny ability to hold an onlookers gaze, but soften whenever he sees a poor person.

Background: A haggard traveler, Uriel has spent many days and nights in search for his goal: the improvement of the
lot of the poor. He was raised in the poorest section of Solace, born to Marion and Kel Nightmist (deceased). His parents worked hard as laborers, trying to raise Uriel and his brother Kai. Uriel and Kai learned very quickly to get "free" meals from vendors, and to snatch the occasional coin from passerby. After coming of age, Uriel decided to
become an adventurer with the Steel Drake mercenary company. After one particularly brutal adventure against humanoids, in which all but Uriel and the company Red Robe, Sandra, survived (and where Uriel got his scar), Uriel decided to go back to Solace in order to catch up with his family, dispense his tithe to the poor, and possibly find Kai, who dissappeared after he turned 17. Uriel tithes almost all of his pay to the poor, saving enough for his equipment,
board, and travel.

The poor guy was killed in the year 351 ac in a backlash of a fireball combined with two very large buckets of greek fire in a fight with Onyx the great black dragon, may his soul rest in peace.
